This Fair Use Policy ("Policy") governs the acceptable use of our WordPress and static site hosting platform ("Service"). This Policy is designed to ensure all customers receive reliable, high-quality service and to protect our infrastructure from abuse.

This Policy applies to all users of the Service, including website owners, administrators, and any visitors to hosted websites.

3. Acceptable Use

3.1 Permitted Uses

The Service is intended for:

  • Hosting legitimate WordPress websites and static sites
  • Business websites, portfolios, and blogs
  • E-commerce sites using supported plugins (e.g., WooCommerce)
  • Informational and marketing websites
  • Personal and hobby projects

3.2 Resource Guidelines

While we do not impose strict numerical limits, we expect reasonable usage patterns consistent with typical website hosting:

4. Prohibited Uses

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

4.1 Illegal Content and Activities

  • Hosting content that violates any applicable law
  • Facilitating illegal activities including fraud, phishing, or scams
  • Hosting or distributing malware, viruses, or malicious code
  • Infringing intellectual property rights (copyright, trademark, patent)
  • Distributing child sexual abuse material (CSAM)

4.2 Harmful or Abusive Content

  • Content promoting violence, terrorism, or hate speech
  • Harassment, bullying, or threats against individuals
  • Defamatory content
  • Non-consensual intimate imagery
  • Deceptive practices or misinformation intended to cause harm

4.3 Technical Abuse

  • Cryptocurrency mining or blockchain operations
  • Running proxy servers, VPNs, or anonymisation services
  • Hosting file sharing, torrent trackers, or download sites
  • Running game servers, voice/video streaming servers, or chat platforms
  • Email servers, mailing lists, or bulk email distribution
  • DDoS attacks or network abuse originating from hosted sites
  • Attempting to access other customers' data or infrastructure
  • Exploiting vulnerabilities in the platform or WordPress

4.4 Resource Abuse

  • Automated scraping or crawling that degrades service
  • Excessive API calls or database queries
  • Storing data unrelated to your website (using hosting as general cloud storage)
  • Running background processes or cron jobs that consume excessive resources
  • Intentionally circumventing scaling limits or resource controls

4.5 Security Violations

  • Attempting to bypass authentication or access controls
  • Probing or testing the vulnerability of systems without authorisation
  • Interfering with service to any user, host, or network
  • Forging TCP/IP packet headers or any part of the header information

5. Content Responsibility

5.1 Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

  • All content uploaded to your hosted websites
  • Ensuring content complies with applicable laws and this Policy
  • Obtaining necessary rights and permissions for all content
  • Implementing appropriate access controls for sensitive content
  • Maintaining up-to-date WordPress installations and plugins

5.2 User-Generated Content

If your website accepts user-generated content (comments, uploads, etc.), you must:

  • Implement appropriate moderation procedures
  • Respond promptly to takedown requests for illegal content
  • Not knowingly host illegal user-generated content

6. Enforcement

6.1 Monitoring

We reserve the right to monitor usage patterns to ensure compliance with this Policy. We do not routinely review website content but may investigate when:

  • Alerted to potential policy violations
  • Unusual resource usage patterns are detected
  • Required by law enforcement or legal process

6.2 Actions We May Take

Upon discovering a Policy violation, we may, at our discretion:

  1. Warning: Issue a warning and request remediation
  2. Suspension: Temporarily suspend access to your website or account
  3. Termination: Permanently terminate your account
  4. Content Removal: Remove specific content that violates this Policy
  5. Reporting: Report illegal activities to appropriate authorities

6.3 Process

Except in cases of severe violations or legal requirements, we will generally:

  1. Notify you of the alleged violation
  2. Provide reasonable time to remedy the issue (typically 24-72 hours)
  3. Work with you to find a resolution where possible

Immediate action without notice may be taken for:

  • Illegal content (especially CSAM)
  • Active security threats
  • DDoS or network attacks
  • Court orders or legal requirements

7. Reporting Violations

To report a Policy violation on a hosted website, contact us with:

  • The URL of the content in question
  • A description of the alleged violation
  • Your contact information

Reports are reviewed promptly and handled in accordance with Section 6.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the admin dashboard or email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
